Consumer Notice

Last updated: 2026-08-16 · AXIS SOCIETY FLD SRL

1. Who we are and what this notice covers. This Consumer Notice explains your rights when you use AXIS Terminal and how to exercise them. It supplements our Terms of Service and should be read together with them. The platform at https://www.axis-terminal.com is operated by AXIS SOCIETY FLD SRL, a Romanian company with registered office at Str. Nerva Traian nr. 27-33, Sector 3, Bucharest, 031044, Romania, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J2025065290005, tax identification code 52410879 ("AXIS", "we", "us"). Under consumer protection law we act as a trader and economic operator, and you, as a natural person acting outside your trade, business or profession, are a consumer. Contact: contact@axissoc.com.

2. Definitions. Consumer means any natural person, or group of natural persons acting through an association, acting for purposes outside their trade, business, industry, craft or profession. Trader and economic operator mean a person acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession, including through anyone acting in their name. Distance contract means a contract concluded between an economic operator and a consumer within an organised distance sales or service-provision scheme, without their simultaneous physical presence, using only means of distance communication. Service means the activities carried out by AXIS through the platform at the request of consumers, and a service contract is a contract under which we supply a service and you pay for it. User means any consumer who registers for, accesses or uses the platform.

3. What AXIS Terminal provides. AXIS Terminal is an educational and informational research platform. It helps you understand listed companies and financial markets, carry out your own research and analysis, and form your own independent judgment using the information and tools we make available. Its features include company research, screening and comparison, valuation analysis, portfolio tracking, watchlists, investment calculations, market information and educational content, as described further in the Terms of Service. Access is provided to members with an active membership maintained through Patreon.

4. Who you contract with, and where to go. AXIS is the provider of the service, and Patreon is the merchant of record for payment. In practice that means:

  • Write to us at contact@axissoc.com about anything to do with the platform itself: how it works, your account and access, the content and data, a fault or complaint about the service, or your rights under this notice.
  • Payment matters are handled by Patreon under its own terms: the payment method, charges, invoices, EU VAT, renewals and cancellation of your membership. We do not process card payments and we do not store your card details.

If you are unsure where a question belongs, write to us and we will point you to the right place. This division does not reduce your statutory rights against us as the provider of the service.

5. Right of withdrawal and refunds. AXIS Terminal is digital content supplied without a tangible medium and made available as soon as your access is activated. Under Article 16 letter m) of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, a consumer loses the 14-day right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun, provided the consumer gave prior express consent for performance to begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that by doing so they lose that right.

Accordingly, where you expressly request and consent to immediate access to the platform and acknowledge the loss of the right of withdrawal, you are no longer entitled to withdraw once access has been activated, and the fees paid for that subscription period are non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You receive confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium, as required for distance contracts under the same ordinance. The Terms of Service provide that your right of withdrawal is governed by this notice, which forms an integral part of them.

6. Information we give you. We commit to providing clear, accurate and comprehensible information about the service, including a description of the platform and its features, pricing and payment terms, the terms and conditions of use, and the procedures for handling complaints and disputes.

7. Your rights as a consumer. You have the right to be protected against the risk of acquiring a service that could harm your life, health or safety, or affect your legitimate rights and interests. You have the right to be fully, fairly and accurately informed about the essential characteristics of the service, so that your decision suits your needs, and to be educated as a consumer, including access to the information you need to make informed decisions about using the platform. You have the right of access to markets offering a wide choice of quality products and services. You have the right to be compensated for damage caused by inadequate quality of products or services, by the means provided by law. You benefit from the statutory rights and remedies applicable to digital content and digital services: in the event of non-conformity you may be entitled, under the conditions set by law, to have the digital content or service brought into conformity, to a proportionate price reduction, or to terminate the contract. You also have the right to organise in consumer associations to defend your interests.

These are statutory rights. Nothing in our Terms of Service limits them: the limitation of liability in the Terms applies without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights.

8. Complaints and dispute resolution. If something is wrong, write to contact@axissoc.com describing the issue and what outcome you are looking for. We aim to acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and to resolve it within 30 days of receipt. Complaints about payment, invoicing or your membership charge are handled by Patreon, as set out in section 4, and we will tell you if that is where your complaint needs to go.

Where a complaint cannot be resolved amicably, you may use the alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available through the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) at anpc.ro, in accordance with applicable law, or the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Privacy and data protection. We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Romanian data protection law. Our Privacy Policy explains what we process, why, and what rights you have over your data; our Cookie Policy covers cookies and similar technologies.

10. Updates to this notice. As the platform develops, this Consumer Notice will be updated accordingly. We always publish the current version on this page, and the date above shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this notice from time to time so you stay informed about your consumer rights. Questions about it: contact@axissoc.com.
