1. Who we are and what this covers. This Cookie Policy explains how AXIS Terminal uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we process personal data and describes your rights. The platform at https://www.axis-terminal.com is operated by AXIS SOCIETY FLD SRL, CUI 52410879, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J2025065290005, with registered office at Str. 2. What cookies are. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit the platform, allowing it to recognise your device on later visits. A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser; a persistent cookie stays on your device for the period set out below. A first-party cookie is placed by the platform itself; a third-party cookie is placed by someone else. In this policy, "cookies" also covers similar technologies such as pixels, web beacons and local storage. Some information collected through cookies, such as an IP address or a device identifier, may constitute personal data; where that is the case, our Privacy Policy explains how we process it and what rights you have.
3. The cookies we use. Every cookie below is set by us (first-party). We use no others.

4. What we do not use. We do not use advertising, marketing, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not allow any third party to place cookies through the platform. We do measure how the terminal is used, in order to improve it, with a privacy-focused analytics tool that is deliberately configured not to store cookies or any identifier on your device: it keeps nothing in your browser between page loads, records no sessions or screen replays, builds no advertising profile, and its data is hosted in the European Union.
5. Consent and managing your preferences. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent, because without them you could not sign in or stay signed in. The preference cookies listed above are placed only when you actively choose an option yourself: switching language, switching display currency, or dismissing the first-steps card. Because the platform places no advertising, tracking or profiling cookies, there is nothing here for you to opt into, and we therefore do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever introduce cookies that require consent, we will ask for it before placing them and give you a way to change your mind.

Please note that if you block or delete these cookies, parts of the platform will not work as intended: without the authentication cookie you cannot stay signed in, and without the preference cookies the terminal simply returns to its defaults on your next visit.

Where cookies involve the processing of your personal data, you have the rights described in our Privacy Policy, including the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
